Work Life
In previous employment, I have had opportunities to work for, and along side, amazing people who have influenced my professional and personal life. For seven years, I held the position of director of marketing at Radio Engineering Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronics for the transportation industry. Later with Omaha-area builder Benchmark Homes, I enjoyed the various duties associated with the position of marketing coordinator. In 2006, I joined one of the nation’s largest independent financial broker-dealers, Securities America, as a senior marketing specialist. In November of 2016, I began a temporary, contract position as an art specialist with Oriental Trading Company / Fun Impressions.
I have a strong work ethic and have been told often that I play well with others. I love what I do and am looking forward to finding the perfect place where I can contribute my experience and skills.
Education
I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and later received my associate’s degree in Electronic Imaging and Graphics from Metropolitan Community College.
A Few Fun Facts About Me
I was born and raised in South Omaha and spent my youth in Catholic schools. I’ve known some of my best friends since I was five. I am obsessed with working in my yard. I love cooking and grilling out. I am an avid golfer and have had a hole-in-one! I have been accused of being a movie junkie as well as a Netflix binge watcher. I enjoy traveling. I am a huge fan of Nebraska Volleyball as well as professional and college football. I love animals, especially my spoiled cats, Zoey, Sydney and Kimmy Schmidt, and volunteer at the Nebraska Humane Society in the cat adoption area.
